Products

Three products for organizations that run programs. One of them is free, one of them is the reason most people find us, and all three exist because someone told us their current process was held together by a spreadsheet and a shared inbox.

The student competition platform

zFairs runs judged student competitions end to end — from the first entry to the final award — for single events and for national programs with dozens of affiliates.

Most competition software handles sign-ups and hands the rest back to you. zFairs covers registration, entries and exhibit approval, judge recruitment and assignment, rubric scoring, advancement between levels, awards, tickets, merchandise, and the communication that ties it together. In person, virtual, or both.

It is built for networks as well as single events. A program with affiliates in every state can run one system from the school level up to nationals, with entries advancing automatically and participation data rolling up — rather than fifty affiliates each improvising their own process.

What it covers

  • Registration and entries
  • Exhibit and paperwork approval
  • Judge recruitment, assignment, and conflict checks
  • Rubric scoring
  • Multi-level advancement
  • Awards and certificates
  • Tickets and merchandise
  • Volunteer management
  • Participant communication
  • Reporting and exports

Who it is for: regional and state science fairs; history, invention, art, robotics, business, and agricultural competitions; national programs with affiliate networks; universities running research symposia.

Document workflows and e-signatures

Orkboo is everything in a workbook — it turns a process that currently lives in email attachments into something people can actually complete.

Build a form, a training module, a data collection sheet, or a signature workflow, configure it to your process, and send it. Responses come back in one place, in a structure you can use. It is customizable end to end, which matters when your process was designed by your organization rather than by a software vendor.

What it covers

  • Custom form and document builder
  • Multi-step workflows and routing
  • Training and instructional content
  • Data collection and structured responses
  • Electronic signatures
  • Response tracking and exports

Free, for students, parents, and teachers

Science fair paperwork, explained and organized. Free to use, and free to keep using.

The forms required to enter an ISEF-affiliated fair are genuinely confusing, and they are usually confronted by a fourteen-year-old and a parent at the kitchen table. ISEF Forms walks through which forms a project needs, in what order, and what each one is actually asking. We do not charge for it, and we are not going to.

Free for students, parents, and teachers. No cost, no trial, no upgrade prompt.
