Accessibility statement

Our software is used by students with disabilities, by volunteer judges in their seventies, and by school districts with accessibility requirements in their procurement policies. We treat accessibility as a requirement, not an aspiration.

Standard

We build to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, across this website and our products.

Current status

This website is designed to WCAG 2.2 AA: semantic headings, labels on every form field, a visible focus state, keyboard-operable navigation, and contrast ratios taken from our published brand tokens. It has not yet had an independent audit. zFairs conforms in many areas; we are still inventorying remaining gaps and will list them here with target dates as that work finishes, rather than claiming a clean bill we have not earned.

  • Published, dated gap list for zFairs with owners — target: first half of 2027.

Testing

We test with keyboard-only navigation and browser developer tools as we ship. Screen-reader review of the core organizer, judge, and participant tasks in zFairs is part of the same inventory.

Tell us where we have failed

If you hit a barrier using our website or our software, email support@zfairs.com. Tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We will acknowledge within two business days and tell you what we intend to do about it.
